You've already taken the first step to getting a great education. The next step is paying for it. Applying for financial aid isn't as difficult as it seems and Skyline is here to assist you. We'll help you find a way to pay for fees, books, and supplies and even rent. Skyline offers access to many resources, including scholarships, grants, and work study programs.

You can afford college. We'll show you how.

Scholarships are awarded every year at Skyline! Scholarships go to continuing, transfer, and incoming high school students. Skyline offers a variety of awards based not only on academic achievement but also on financial need.

Extended Opportunity Programs and Services (EOPS) is designed to assist students who have the desire and potential to succeed in college but are challenged by language, are educationally unprepared, and are economically disadvantaged. The EOPS Program offers a variety of support services such as tutors, bilingual counseling, and much more.

Skyline College provides assistance to students who are currently receiving CalWORKs cash aid from the county (also called AFDC or TANF), or who have received it within the past two years. CalWORKS helps with money for child care, fees, books, parking permits, bus passes, work study, and counseling.

The Financial Aid Handbook is your guide to Skyline's Financial Aid. Please read it carefully to become familiar with the process of applying for financial aid, know what programs are available and how to remain eligible.
