Carol Bonner
Carol Bonner is a native San Franciscan and has lived in San Bruno for the last thirty-five years with her husband Jesse where they raised their three children. She started at Skyline shortly after it was built and graduated with honors in 1978. Over the years, she has been involved in community activities through her children's sports programs, City-sponsored events and St. Robert's. She loves gardening, painting, reading, water aerobics, traveling and spending time with her five grandchildren.
Carol currently holds the elected position of City Clerk for the City of San Bruno where she prepares the agendas for Council meetings, takes the minutes for each Council meeting, conducts the municipal elections, oversees the filing of conflict of interest statements and campaign finance statements, administers the Oath of Office for city elected officials, prepares and maintains the official legislative record and dissemination of approved legislative actions by the City Council, manages the official records, oversees the posting and publication of public notices, receives and processes public records act requests, oversees updates to the San Bruno Municipal Code, processes claims, conducts public bid openings and is often the 411 for City Hall.
She is excited to be part of the President's Council of Skyline College and looks forward to contributing her time to such a worthwhile cause.
