This site is designed to keep the college community abreast of the activities and recommendations of the Educational Policy Committee of the Skyline College Academic Senate. The Committee encourages the broadest possible participation in our deliberations and invites you to contact any of the members with your ideas and suggestions.

 

 

Responsibilities


The duties and responsibilities of the Educational Policy Committee are specified in Article III, Section 7 of the By-Laws of the Constitution of the Skyline College Academic Senate and are reproduced below.


All responsibilities of the Educational Policy Committee shall be carried out in accordance with applicable State laws.

 

  1. Considers for recommendation all matters of educational policy including academic standards, probation, disqualification, re-admissions policies, grading procedures, matriculation, student behavior and student grievances.
  2. Considers for recommendation all matters of administrative policy concerning educational policy, including policies of the Office of Instruction and the Office of Student Services.
